Profantasy cc3 photoshop3/29/2024 ![]() ![]() If you're really interested in using CC3, I would advise sticking with it. Every little bit helps when it comes to learning how to use a program like this with speed and efficiency. I have also made dozens of other wilderness maps, city maps, and character portraits with CC3. Those false starts taught me valuable lessons that made the process go much faster this time. In fairness I did try making a Flanaess map twice before, only to abandon it halfway through because I didn't like the way it was turning out. This is by far the most epic map I've made in CC3. Have you done any other world-map sized projects in CC3? Is this your most epic scale yet? The mountains and the positioning of text-labels are why I already guessed it was CC3, and that is not a bad thing. There is also other software, such as Fractal Terrains, also made by Profantasy which give a more realistic ‘3d look’ similar to sattelite photographs. I am all the more impressed that you finished this in 30 hours in under 2 weeks. Gimp/PS are by far the most preferred mapping tools of the community although there is also a strong base of users who use Campaign Cartographer by Profantasy (CC3 for short). ![]() Gold wrote:I'm familiar with ProFantasy's CC3, but this would take me years at my current CC skill, since I haven't learned a knack for CAD controlling yet (I am from the Photoshop world, even Illustrator, feels quite different in the ways you click and place objects/features on the page, duplicate, rotate, resize, I would really like to learn how it's done properly and deftly, efficiently). ![]()
